Ingredients

  • 150 g rice
  • 100 g tofu
  • 1 small Can / n peach (s)
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 2 teaspoons curry paste
  • some curry powder
  • Pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, dice the onion and sweat it. Also dice the tofu (size to taste) and add to the onions. Add the curry paste and fry everything together.
  3. Add the peaches and deglaze with the juice from the peach can. But don`t put all of the juice in at once. Add the cream and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, adding the peach juice to achieve the desired consistency. Finally, season with curry powder and salt.
  4. Serve the ragout with the rice.
  5. Tip: By replacing the cream with soy cream, the dish is also suitable for vegans.
