Turkey Terrine with Pistachios, Wrapped in Bacon

Turkey terrine with pistachios – minced turkey fillet baked in a rectangular shape with the addition of nuts, in thin slices of bacon. Delicious, gourmet meat appetizer.

Ingredients
- Turkey fillet – 600 g
- Pistachios – 100 g
- Raw smoked bacon (sliced) – 80 g
- Butter – 1 tbsp
- Chicken egg – 1 pc.
- Milk – 100 ml
- Bread crumbs – 2 tbsp
- Dry spicy herbs (a mixture of herbs) – 0.5-1 teaspoon
- Dried garlic – to taste
- Ground pepper (a mixture of peppers) – to taste
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Prepare turkey terrine foods. In order not to spoil the taste of the dish, it is advisable to cook bread crumbs yourself.
- Wash the turkey fillet, dry with paper towels. Cut the fillet into slices and mince. Add the egg, salt, and spices to the turkey mince. Mix.
- Add softened butter, stir. Add breadcrumbs (preferably homemade), stir. Gradually pouring in milk, knead the minced meat thoroughly. Beat the minced meat several times in a bowl until it becomes soft and smooth.
- Peel the pistachios and stir in the minced meat. Line a rectangular baking dish, measuring 20x11x6 cm, with bacon plates so that the ends of the bacon hang out of the mold.
- Spread the cooked minced turkey with pistachios inside evenly, smooth so that there are no voids. Cover the minced meat with the dangling ends of the bacon. Bake turkey terrine with pistachios, in bacon, in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
- Transfer the finished turkey terrine to the wire rack, cool slightly. Then cut into portions and serve – warm or chilled.
