- 250 g flour
- 250 g powdered suar
- 1 sachet vanilla sugar
- 0.5 ½ sachet baking powder
- 125 ml water, (lukewarm)
- 125 ml oil
- 1 piece (s) vanilla pod (s)

- First separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites into streaky snow. Mix the sugar, vanilla sugar, yolks, oil and water until frothy. Cut open the vanilla pod, scrape out the pulp and add to the batter. Now fold in the flour and baking powder. Finally, carefully fold in the egg whites. Place the dough in a greased bundt cake tin sprinkled with breadcrumbs and bake at approx. 160 ° C for about an hour. Let it cool down a bit and then turn it over.
- Sprinkle the finished Gugelhupf with icing sugar and enjoy!
