Ingredients

  • 4 apples
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 pinch clove powder
  • 250 g pasta
  • 500 g quark
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 vanilla pod (s)
  • 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 glass water

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. In the meantime, peel the apples and cut them into large pieces. Top with about a glass of water and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Season with a little cinnamon and a little clove powder. Cook for about 10 minutes until the pieces have a soft consistency.
  3. In a large bowl, stir together the quark, milk, eggs and a little sugar as required. Slit open the vanilla pod and scrape out the pulp. Season the quark mixture with the pulp of the vanilla pod and the vanilla flavor.
  4. Drain the noodles that have just been cooked and mix with the quark mixture. Grease a baking dish with the oil. Drain the apples - save the cooking water - and spread them on the bottom of the baking dish. Spread the curd mass over it. Mix the breadcrumbs with the vanilla sugar and sprinkle over the casserole.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 25-30 minutes.
  6. Serve with cinnamon and sugar or vanilla sauce and possibly the apple liquid.
  7. Tips: Change the amount of sugar depending on how sweet you like it.
  8. With 200 ml of milk the casserole gets a firm consistency - if you want it softer, you should use 300 ml.
