Ingredients

  • 1 white cabbage (approx. kg)
  • 2 bell peppers, green
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • salt and pepper
  • 70 g butter or mararine
  • liter ⅛ beef broth
  • 1 cup crème fraîche (50 g)

Instructions

  1. Clean and quarter the white cabbage, cut out the stalk in a wedge shape, cut the cabbage into strips that are not too wide. Cut the peppers into strips.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, add the minced meat and fry, season well with salt and pepper, fry until crispy brown, remove from the pan.
  3. Heat 50 g of fat in the pan and stew the cabbage and paprika strips in it until they start to brown slightly. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper and deglaze with the broth. Cover everything and let simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Then stir in the creme fraîche (except for 1 tablespoon for garnish). Add the minced meat. If necessary, season the cabbage pan again with salt and pepper. Put the rest of the creme fraîche on top of the cabbage. Mashed potatoes are served with it.
