Ingredients

  • 1 small can vegetables, mixed (peas and carrots) fine
  • 1 small Can / s beans, (princess beans)
  • 1 small can asparagus - tips or asparagus cut
  • 150 g whipped cream, possibly more
  • water
  • 3 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • a bit salt
  • some pepper
  • some nutmeg
  • possibly herbs, e.g., Parsley (Tk)
  • possibly lemon juice

All Kinds Of Vegetables with Peas, Carrots, Green Beans and Asparagus

Instructions

  1. Drain the vegetables on a sieve and then transfer them to a saucepan. Add some water (approx. 1.5-2 cm high) and the cream and bring to a simmer. Mix the cornstarch in a cup with a little water and thicken the vegetables with it. If desired, a dash of cream, if you want it thinner. Season to taste with sugar, salt, pepper, nutmeg and possibly herbs.

  4. Goes very well with potato wedges and schnitzel, but also with ribbon noodles and poultry.
