Asparagus in a Double Boiler

There is nothing healthier than seasonal vegetables, and even more so asparagus, and also cooked in the right way. In order not to lose vitamins, I will tell you how to cook asparagus in a double boiler – simple and delicious!

Ingredients
- Asparagus shoots – 10 pieces
- Water – 3 Glasses
- Salt – 1 Pinch
- Pepper – 1 Pinch
Directions
- Pour water into the tray of the double boiler until about the middle. I have a large double boiler, that’s why I got three glasses, but you don’t need to pour water to the “maximum” mark at all, half is enough.
- Put the pre-washed asparagus shoots in the upper bowl and lightly sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
- Close the lid and set the timer for about 6 minutes. If, after the expiration date, the asparagus is still firm in some places, you can boil it a little more.
