Ingredients

  • 400 g kohlrabi
  • 80 g cheese (hard cheese), rated
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 40 g cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 leaves sage
  • 2 tomato (s), sliced
  • 1 tablespoon white wine
  • 100 ml vegetable stock, possibly

Instructions

  1. Peel the kohlrabi and cut into 1 - 2 cm thick slices. Cook in the steamer for 6 - 8 minutes or stew in the vegetable stock until firm to the bite.
  2. Place the kohlrabi slices on an oiled baking sheet, cover with tomato slices and sprinkle with salt. Mix the grated cheese with the cream, wine, pressed garlic and pepper. Place the sage leaves on the tomato slices and spread the cheese mixture over them.
  3. Bake at 180 ° C for about 20 minutes. Tastes very tasty as a vegetarian dish with salad and bread of your choice or as an accompaniment to meat dishes.
