Ingredients

  • 500 g round beef
  • 4 slices processed cheese (Chester cheese)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 large burger buns
  • 8 leaves iceberg lettuce
  • 1 onion (s), red
  • 0.5 ½ cucumber (s)
  • 1 handful tomato (s) (snack tomatoes)
  • 8 small jalapeños
  • Ketchup
  • mayonnaise
  • Mustard (honey mustard)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. First, mix the ground beef with the clove of garlic, salt and pepper. Form four equal-sized meatballs out of this and press them into patties. Mine are always about half a centimeter high.
  2. Heat the oil in the pan and fry the patties in it. Meanwhile, cut the hamburger buns open and brush the lower part with a little ketchup and mayonnaise.
  3. Place the fried patties on the hamburger buns and top with a slice of Chester cheese, bake for about 5 minutes at 180 degrees top and bottom heat and also put the top part of the bun in the oven. During this time, cut the onion, peeled cucumber, snack tomatoes and jalapenos into small pieces and wash the salad.
  4. Once the cheese has melted slightly, take the hamburgers out of the oven and press the cucumber and tomato slices into the cheese. Put the honey mustard sauce on the burger and place the onions and jalapenos on top. Now drizzle some ketchup on the salad so that the lid holds better and fix everything with a kebab skewer.
  5. It is advisable to eat with a knife and fork.
