Baked Potatoes with Minced Meat, Tomato Sauce and Cheese

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 600 g
  • Minced meat (pork) – 550 g
  • Hard cheese – 120 g
  • Tomatoes – 3 pcs. (440 g)
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc. (120 g)
  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Dried Italian herbs – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Ground paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 1 pinch

Directions

  1. Peel the onion and garlic, wash, grind in a blender and add to the minced meat.
  2. Add salt, Italian herbs, paprika, and black pepper to the minced meat with onions. Mix well until smooth.
  3. We form minced meat of the same size into small balls about the size of a walnut. I got 35 pieces.
  4. Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into circles about 1 cm thick. (You can cut the potatoes with a special curly knife. This will make the potatoes look prettier and the dish will look more festive.) To prevent the sliced ​​potatoes from darkening, put the potato circles in the water.
  5. We start assembling the dish. Put the meatball on the potato circle. Press the bun with the second potato circle and put it in a baking dish greased with vegetable oil.
  6. In this way, we spread all the potatoes with minced meat in a circle of shape. We turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  7. Wash and grind the tomatoes in a blender or grate. If desired, you can first remove the skin from the tomatoes (cut the skin, pour boiling water over for a couple of minutes, immerse it in cold water and remove the skin). Add 1 pinch of salt and 1 tablespoon to the tomato mass. a spoonful of olive oil. Stir the tomato sauce.
  8. Pour the tomato sauce on top of the potatoes with meat and distribute evenly over the entire surface. We send the form with potatoes and meat to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes. We determine the readiness of the dish by piercing the potatoes with a wooden stick or knife – the vegetable should be soft.
  9. Rub the cheese on a fine grater. 5 minutes before cooking, take out the potatoes with meat from the oven, sprinkle with cheese, and put back in the oven to melt the cheese. After 5 minutes, baked potatoes with minced meat, tomato sauce and cheese are ready.
  10. We take out the potatoes with meat from the oven, put them on plates, and serve hot.
