Ingredients
- 250 g sweet potato (s)
- 200 g wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Sugar, depending on the sweetness the potato used

- Peel the sweet potato, cut into small cubes and steam for 15 minutes. Then let the vegetables cool, put them in a bowl and mash them.
- Add the flour and sugar to the bowl and mix and knead everything well. Cut the dough into 7 pieces so that you can form 7 flat cakes. Heat the oil in a pan, add the 7 flat cakes and bake until golden brown.
- I steamed the sweet potato. It is of course also possible if the sweet potato is boiled in water or baked in the oven, whereby the nutrients and aroma are preserved most of the time by steaming. Steaming is an ancient Chinese cooking method that is still very popular in China.
- This time I added 2 teaspoons of sugar. However, sugar is not a must. Afterwards you can eat the flatbreads with honey, applesauce or jam.
