Ingredients

  • 400 ml buttermilk
  • 500 g rye flour
  • 2 packs dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 16 g salt
  • Poppy seeds, caraway seeds, sesame seeds, coarse salt

Instructions

  1. Warm the buttermilk slightly. Knead the flour with yeast, vinegar, buttermilk and salt to form a smooth dough. Let rise for 30 minutes. Shape it into small rolls and arrange to form a sun on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush with water and sprinkle with poppy seeds, caraway seeds, sesame seeds and coarse salt.
  2. Bake for 30 minutes at 200 ° C.
