- 3 clove (s) garlic
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder, noble sweet
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 60 ml water
- 1 tablespoon vinegar (red wine vinegar)
- salt
- 1 tablespoon parsley, freshly chopped smooth

- Peel the carrots and cut into thin slices. Finely chop the garlic.
- Cover and heat the carrots, garlic, paprika, sugar and water in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for 12-15 minutes until the carrots are lightly caramelized. Add the vinegar and simmer for another minute. Remove from heat and season with salt.
- Arrange the carrots in a bowl, sprinkle with parsley after cooling and serve.
