Ingredients

  • 250 g flour, approx.
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 egg (s)
  • salt
  • 200 g smoked smoked pork pork (soft-boiled smoked meat)
  • 0.5 ½ small onion (s)
  • 1 ½ liter soup (made from soup cubes, clear soup)

Instructions

  1. For the dough, whisk together the milk and egg, stir in the flour and season with salt (1/2 teaspoon). The dough should be soft enough that you can just stir it with the whisk.
  2. Bring the soup to the boil (pot, d = 21 cm).
  3. Chop the onion and smoked meat into small cubes and stir into the dumpling dough with a fork. With a tablespoon, which is first dipped into the boiling soup, dig up piles of dough and let it slide into the soup. Turn down the heat, carefully remove the dumplings from the bottom. The dumplings must steep (simmer) in the soup for approx. 15 minutes.
  4. The dumplings are served with soup and coleslaw is served, so you can alternate between eating soup and coleslaw.
