Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon saffron threads
  • 4 tablespoon water
  • 1 cauliflower, (approx. kg)
  • Water, salted
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), juice from it
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 pinch saffron powder
  • some sprigs parsley or coriander

Instructions

  1. Let the saffron threads soak in lukewarm water.
  2. Divide the cauliflower into florets. Bring the salted water with lemon juice to the boil, cook the cauliflower firm to the bite, remove and rinse in cold water.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan, add saffron water with soaking water and saffron powder. Let the cauliflower get evenly hot while swirling the pot.
  4. Serve sprinkled with parsley or coriander leaves.
