Chak-Chak on Choux Pastry

A non-standard recipe for chak-chaka is suitable for those who do not consume fried foods. Chak-chak made from choux pastry is baked in the oven and turns out to be very tender and airy.

Ingredients

  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 70 ml
  • Flour – 180 g
  • Honey – 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar – 70 g
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Water – 170 ml

Directions

  1. Pour the recommended amount of purified water into a deep saucepan, add vegetable oil and a pinch of salt.
  2. Bring the mass to a boil, gradually add wheat flour.
  3. Mix thoroughly so that the mass becomes homogeneous.
  4. Introduce raw eggs (one at a time) into a slightly chilled blank.
  5. We make the mixture homogeneous.
  6. Using a pastry bag or bag, spread the dough in small strips (0.5-0.6 mm wide, 2-3 cm long) on ​​a baking sheet.
  7. We bake chak-chak at 210 degrees for 17-20 minutes.
  8. Cooking syrup: pour 2 tablespoons into a saucepan. water, add sugar, add honey. After the sweet mass boils, wait 3-5 minutes.
  9. Fill the dough pieces with the prepared syrup.
  10. We spread it on a plate, form a small slide (with wet hands).
  11. We serve chuck-chak from choux pastry at any time.
