Chickpea Sweets with Nuts and Cinnamon

Chickpea candies with nuts and cinnamon are not sweet-sweet, with a pleasant taste and soft truffle consistency.

Ingredients

  • Dry chickpeas – 90 g
  • Walnuts – 30 g
  • Honey – 1.5 tbsp
  • Cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon. L.
  • Cocoa powder – 2 tablespoon Spoons
  • Powdered sugar – 1 tbsp
  • You can add dried fruits (dried apricots, dates, raisins) or any flavors to sweets.

Directions

  1. Ingredients for making chickpea sweets with nuts and cinnamon.
  2. Rinse dry chickpeas, cover with cold water and leave for 12 hours.
  3. Then drain the water.
  4. Transfer the chickpeas to a saucepan, cover with fresh water, and put on fire. Cook for 1-1.5 hours after boiling water.
  5. Finished chickpeas should be soft. Drain the liquid, dry the chickpeas in a colander.
  6. Place the chickpeas and walnuts in a blender bowl. Add cinnamon.
  7. Pour in honey and grind everything until smooth.
  8. The mass turns out to be fragile in appearance but easily wrinkled by hand.
  9. Roll this mass into small balls the size of a walnut. Usually, it turns out 17-20 pieces.
  10. Sift cocoa and powdered sugar into a plate, mix. Dip the candy in the mixture.
  11. Arrange the chickpea candies in the candy tins or boxes. Store in a cool place with the lid closed.
  12. Chickpea candies with nuts and cinnamon are ready. Enjoy your meal.
