Chocolate Cake with Pistachios

It is not a shame to put such a cake on a festive table on the occasion of a celebration, for example, for a birthday. Very nice and delicious. Take on arms.

Ingredients

  • Peeled pistachios – 1.5 Cups
  • Flour – 0.3 cups
  • Sugar – 0.75 Glasses
  • Cream – 0.75 Cups
  • Jam – 0.5 cups
  • Black chocolate – 210 Grams
  • Eggs – 6 Pieces
  • Vanilla – 1 Teaspoon
  • Lemon zest – 1 Teaspoon
  • Lemon Juice – 4 Teaspoons
  • Cognac – 1 Art. the spoon
  • Salt – 1 Pinch
  • Sweet Pistachios – To taste (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Put the peeled pistachios on a baking sheet greased with butter and sprinkled with flour and fry in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Then grind the pistachios and flour in a blender.
  3. Whisk half the sugar and the yolks well.
  4. Whisk the whites with the second half of the sugar and lemon juice.
  5. Combine whites and egg yolks, add zest and vanilla. Gradually add the pistachio flour and knead the dough.
  6. Put the dough in a mold and bake in the oven for 45 minutes. Then refrigerate and cut into two cakes.
  7. Melt the chocolate in hot cream, add the cognac and stir. Grease the bottom crust with jam, cover with the second and coat with chocolate icing on all sides. Garnish with sweet pistachios.
