Ingredients
- 250 g apples, peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 300 ml apple juice
- 1 cinnamon stick (s)
- 1 star anise
- 1 bottle white wine, drier
- 150 ml calvados
- maple syrup or sugar for sweetening

- Bring the apple pieces in the apple juice together with the cinnamon stick and star anise to the boil. Turn down the temperature and let the apples steep for about 8 minutes.
- Now the white wine and the calvados are added. Warm the mulled wine and let it steep for half an hour.
- You can sweeten with maple syrup or sugar to taste. If you don`t want any apple pieces, just strain them off.
