Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 30 g yeast
  • 250 ml milk
  • 100 g suar
  • 100 g lard
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon (s) - zest
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • Fat for deep-frying

Instructions

  1. Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in it. Crumble in the yeast with a little sugar and mix with some of the lukewarm milk. Cover and let rise in a warm place for approx. 20 minutes. Add the rest of the milk, a pinch of salt, sugar, lard, eggs and lemon zest. Knead vigorously until the dough comes off the edge of the bowl. Cover and let rise for another 10 minutes.
  2. Roll out and cut into strips. Place the lard biscuits on a floured board.
  3. Cover and let rise on a warm place for 20 minutes. Cut the sausages into 1-2 cm long pieces.
  4. Heat the frying fat and carefully insert the parts. Bake light brown floating and drain on kitchen paper.
  5. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm.
