Kappa-Maki Rolls “Kiuri”

Unusual rolls – not with cucumber, but from cucumber, which replaces nori seaweed. And no rice. But with avocado, salmon, shrimp and cream cheese.

Ingredients

  • Cucumber – 2 pcs.
  • Avocado – 0.25 pcs.
  • Salmon – 60 g
  • Large boiled shrimps – 2 pcs.
  • Tobiko – 20 g
  • Cream cheese – 1 tbsp
  • Sesame – 20 g
  • Wasabi
  • Soy sauce

Directions

  1. How to cook kappa-maki rolls “Kiuri”: Peel the
    cucumbers. Cut off the edges.
  2. Carefully cut the prepared cucumbers into a thin “sheet”.
  3. Peel and chop the avocado.
  4. Cut the salmon pieces into strips.
  5. Peel the shrimp.
  6. Cover the bamboo mat (makisu) with foil. Lay out the prepared cucumber “sheets”.
  7. Spread cream cheese over the middle.
  8. Place the tobiko and avocado on the cream cheese.
  9. Put strips of salmon and shrimp on top. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  10. Using a rug, gently roll up the kappa maki roll.
  11. Cut the kappa maki roll into 8-10 pieces.
  12. Serve kappa maki rolls with wasabi and soy sauce.
  13. Place the tobiko and avocado on the cream cheese.
