Ingredients

  • 225 grams flour
  • 50 g almond (s), round
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 3 drops bitter almond flavor
  • 1 egg (s), including the yolk
  • 150 g butter
  • 200 g marzipan
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 tablespoon liqueur (almond liqueur)
  • 1 egg (s), including the yolk
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with the ground almonds. Add the 75 g sugar and the vanilla sugar, as well as the bitter almond aroma and the butter. Make a dough out of it. Theoretically 1 hour in the refrigerator. But I used it right away - also worked.
  2. Roll out the dough to not quite half a cm and cut out 5 cm circles.
  3. Knead the marzipan, the 50 g sugar and the tablespoon of almond liqueur and shape them into balls. These balls are now placed on the circles. Now comes the trick. With your thumb and two fingers, pull the dough up in a triangular shape on the ball, creating a kind of cone. If you hold your fingers as if you were swearing, you can do just fine. It is best to take the dough circle from the table in the other hand, then it is easier than directly from the table. Finally, coat the cones with a mixture of one egg yolk and one tablespoon of milk. They are baked for 15 minutes at 150 degrees in a preheated oven.
