Macaroons with Marzipan

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour / Flour – 200 g
  • Starch – 75 g
  • Almonds (ground) – 50 g
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Chicken egg – 1 pc
  • Butter (200 g – in the dough, 100 g – in the filling) – 300 g
  • Milk chocolate / Chocolate – 100 g
  • Marzipan – 100 g

Directions

  1. Knead the dough using flour, starch, almonds, sugar, eggs, and butter (room temperature).
  2. Form a “sausage” from the dough with a diameter of 3-4 cm. Wrap in plastic wrap and put in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
  3. Heat the oven to 200C. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut the frozen dough into cookies about 0.5 cm thick.
  4. Bake on paper for 10 minutes at 200C.
  5. For the cream, you need to mix melted chocolate (bitter, milk, white – to your taste), marzipan mass, and butter.
  6. Coat the cookies with cream and fold in pairs.
  7. Cookies can be garnished with melted chocolate or icing.
