Meat “Bread” with Cheese and Sweet Pepper

Delicious meat “bread” with cheese and sweet pepper can be served hot or chilled. Minimum manipulations: combine minced meat with vegetables and cheese, form a “loaf” and bake in the oven. The perfect minced meat dish that goes well with any side dish or salad.
Ingredients
- Minced meat (pork and beef) – 600 g
- Sweet red pepper – 1 pc. (100 g)
- Bulb onions – 1 pc. (150 g)
- Garlic – 2 cloves
- Hard cheese (I have Gouda) – 120 g
- Sour cream (20% fat) – 150 g
- Sweet mustard – 1 tbsp
- Dried oregano – 0.5 teaspoon
- Ground sweet paprika – 0.5 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper – to taste
Directions
- We prepare the necessary ingredients. During the preparation process, you will need parchment paper and foil.
- Peel the bell peppers. Cut the peeled onions and peppers into small pieces. Rub the cheese on a fine grater. Combine chopped vegetables with cheese. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Pass the peeled garlic through a press. Add minced meat, mustard, sour cream, chopped garlic, oregano and paprika to vegetables and cheese. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix the minced meat thoroughly until smooth.
- Cover the bottom of the baking dish with parchment paper. From the minced meat we form “bread” – a dense mass according to the shape size. We spread the meat “bread” in the form on parchment.
- We cover the form with foil and send it to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 40 minutes.
- After a while, remove the foil and put the form in the oven for another 20 minutes. Then turn off the oven and let the meat “bread” stand there for another 10-15 minutes.
- Cut the meat dish into portions and serve warm or cold.
