Meat Cutlets with Pumpkin and Cream Cheese

Another interesting recipe for delicious cutlets. Thanks to pumpkin, melted cheese and mayonnaise, minced meat cutlets come out very tender and juicy. In addition, pumpkin and ketchup give the cutlets a beautiful bright color, and cheese and garlic give the flavor. I hope you enjoy the result as well as my family.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Minced meat (I have pork + chicken) – 400 g
  • Pumpkin – 100 g
  • Processed cheese – 90 g
  • Onions – 70 g (1 pc.)
  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Bread crumbs – 2 tbsp
  • Ketchup – 2 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Ground black pepper – 1-2 pinches (to taste)
  • Flour (for breading) – 4-5 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 45 ml (3 tablespoons)

Directions

  1. Prepare all the necessary foods according to the list. I use minced pork and chicken (in equal parts), you can use either.
  2. Peel the onions, rinse and cut into small cubes.
  3. Peel the pumpkin and the inside with seeds, rinse. Grate the pumpkin pulp on the finest grater.
  4. Transfer the minced meat to a bowl. Add pumpkin and chopped onion to it.
  5. Grate the melted cheese on a medium grater and add to a bowl.
  6. Peel the garlic, squeeze through a press and add to a bowl too. Send the egg there. Add salt and ground pepper.
  7. Add ketchup and mayonnaise.
  8. Then pour the breadcrumbs into the bowl.
  9. Mix all ingredients well.
  10. Form small cutlets, roll them in flour.
  11. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, put cutlets and cover the frying pan with a lid.
  12. Cook the cutlets on each side for 10 minutes on low heat (covered).
  13. Meat cutlets with pumpkin and cream cheese turned out to be delicious and very tasty. Optionally, you can use sour cream or ketchup when serving, like mine.
