- 320 grams sugar
- 320 g flour
- 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
- 500 g quark, (curd cheese)
- 70 grams sugar
- 2 egg (s)
- 1 point vanilla sugar

- Separate the 5 eggs for the dough. Mix the yolks, sugar and water until frothy. Pour in the oil slowly. Mix the flour and baking powder and fold in. Beat the egg white until stiff and fold in as well.
- For the curd rack, stir together the curd, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla sugar. Beat the egg white until stiff and fold in.
- Spread the batter on a baking sheet. Pour the curd cheese mixture into a piping bag and sprinkle it onto the dough mixture as a grid. Bake the cake at 180 ° C for about 25 - 30 minutes until the cake is lightly browned.
- You can also make the cake as a cocoa variant. Simply add 2 heaping tablespoons of cocoa to the batter.
