Okroshka with Sausage on Kvass

I present to your attention a traditional dish of Russian cuisine – okroshka. This is a wonderful cold soup that is best cooked in summer, in hot weather. Okroshka on kvass perfectly quenches thirst and hunger!

Ingredients

  • Kvass – 2 l
  • Boiled potatoes – 3 pcs.
  • Doctor’s sausage – 300 g
  • Egg – 3 pcs.
  • Cucumber – 2 pcs.
  • Radish – 6 pcs.
  • Sour cream 15% – 150 g
  • Green onions – 1 bunch
  • Dill – 1 bunch

How to cook okroshka with sausage on kvass:

Directions

  1. Take 3 boiled potatoes and cut them into medium-sized cubes.
  2. Cut the doctor’s sausage into cubes of about the same size as the potatoes.
  3. Cut 3 pre-boiled eggs into cubes.
  4. We cut the cucumber.
  5. Cut the radish into quarters.
  6. Chop the green onion.
  7. Chop the dill.
  8. Let’s start assembling okroshka. Put potatoes, sausage, eggs, radishes, cucumbers, and herbs into a deep bowl. We mix all the ingredients.
  9. It’s time to serve the dish. We take a deep portioned plate. We put a mixture of previously prepared ingredients into it. Fill with kvass. Add sour cream.
