  • 700 g potato (s), half firm - half floury
  • Cumin (cumin)
  • salt and pepper
  • 0.5 tablespoon ½ oil

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut into 1 cm thick slices and soak in water for 1 hour so that the starch can settle.
  2. Then dry the potatoes and mix in a bowl with only about 1 1/2 oil. Place the slices side by side on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C on the middle rack for approx. 25-30 minutes, turning in between.
  4. Sprinkle the potatoes with cumin, salt and pepper just before serving.
  5. This goes well with yogurt with garlic and mint.
  6. Tips: A mixture of cumin and salt can also be made.
  7. You can also omit cumin and mix the potatoes with dried thyme or oregano (approx. 1 tablespoon) before baking.
