Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 cube fresh yeast
  • 0.5 ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking soda
  • 1 drop vinegar

Instructions

  1. First heat approx. 100 ml milk in the microwave (lukewarm), crumble in the yeast and add sugar. Let the mixture stand for about 15 minutes. Many bubbles should form.
  2. In the meantime, put the remaining ingredients in a bowl and then add the milk-yeast mixture and knead everything neatly into a dough. If it is too dry, you can still add a little milk, but it must not stick to your hands.
  3. Cover the dough and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
  4. Now shape the dough into 6 balls of the same size and place on a board / tray and let rise for another 15 minutes. This makes the dough easier to pull.
  5. Prepare and heat a pan with oil. Finally, slowly pull the dough balls into flat cakes or press them flat on the worktop and sizzle until golden brown on each side in the pan.
  6. Now you can cover the Langoše according to your needs. I always put some oil in a measuring cup and add 1 - 2 cloves of garlic and stir this with a hand blender. In addition, I mix a cup of sour cream and sour cream and season it with salt and pepper. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and the langoše are ready.
