Ingredients

  • 1 kg cucumber (s), (pickled cucumbers)
  • 1 liter water
  • 5 cherry tree leaves, currant leaves, oak leaves and 1 horseradish leaf
  • some dill, fresher
  • some dill, more dried
  • 5 clove (s) garlic, peeled and cut into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash the cucumbers and place them in a sealable container. Bring the water with all the other ingredients to the boil and immediately pour over the cucumber. After cooling, close the container and keep it in a cool place.
  2. After just one day, the cucumbers taste a bit unusual, but very, very tasty and lightly salted. I don`t know how long they will last, because we plastered them off within a very short time.
  3. The cucumbers also taste great in salads.
