Ingredients
- 300 g wheat flour type 550 or Tipo 00
- 100 g durum wheat semolina
- 100 ml water, lukewarm
- 100 ml milk, lukewarm
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cube yeast, fresh

- Mix the flour, durum wheat semolina and salt together in a large bowl. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk and sugar. Now add the yeast-milk mixture together with the water and the olive oil to the dry ingredients in the bowl and knead with the dough hook of the mixer or the food processor until a homogeneous dough is formed. This takes about 3 minutes. Now the dough is kneaded with your hands for a good 5 minutes until it feels nice and firm.
- Divide the dough and rub two round pizza trays with a little olive oil (or leave whole and place on a large oven tray). You can now shape the dough into the trays with your hands or simply roll it out with a rolling pin. The dough is allowed to take a 20-minute break in a warm place.
- Then the pizza edge is coated with a little olive oil. Now it`s up to you to top the pizza as you like.
- The pizza is baked in the preheated oven at 250 degrees for 12-15 minutes on the lowest rack. The time can of course vary depending on the oven.
- Tip: I like to fill the rim with grated cheese to get a delicious cheese crust.
