Pork Baked in a Pot

Absolutely everyone will like this hearty and incredibly tasty dish baked in pots, and thanks to sauerkraut our pork gets an unforgettable taste and aroma.

Ingredients

  • Pork – 1.5 Kilograms
  • Sauerkraut – 1.5 Kilograms
  • Potatoes – 5-6 Pieces
  • Bulb onions – 5-6 pieces
  • Carrots – 1 Piece
  • Sour cream – 200 Grams
  • Cheese – 100 Grams
  • Broccoli – 200 Grams
  • Butter – 1
  • Salt – To taste
  • Spices – To taste
  • Fresh herbs – To taste

Directions

  1. For a start, of course, you need to prepare all the necessary ingredients in advance. We cut the meat, potatoes, onions and carrots into cubes, finely chop the greens, and three cheese on a coarse grater. Potatoes and meat should be lightly salted.
  2. Then we rub each pot with a little oil and put meat and onions in it. Add spices and herbs to taste.
  3. Then comes the sauerkraut. It must be evenly distributed and lightly crushed with a fork.
  4. Then lay out another thick layer of onion.
  5. The next layer is potatoes and carrots, which we also add a little salt to.
  6. And then broccoli. You can of course not use broccoli in the recipe, but it turns out very nicely with it.
  7. Now pour a quarter glass of water into each pot.
  8. Lubricate with a small layer of sour cream.
  9. And sprinkle with grated cheese.
  10. Cover the pots with lids and put them in the oven. We set the temperature to 200 degrees and leave to cook for 1 hour. When our pork is ready, we remove the pots, sprinkle their contents with fresh herbs and serve.
