- 500 g potato (s)
- 1 medium onion (s)
- 2 cloves garlic
- olive oil
- 200 g minced meat, mixed
- salt and pepper
- cumin
- paprika powder
- 1 tablespoon, heaped tomato paste, more if necessary
- 200 ml cream
- 100 ml milk
- 1 teaspoon, heaped broth
- Cayenne pepper
- thyme
- 200 g cheese, rated
- 200 g bell pepper (s), cut into strips

- First peel the potatoes and cut them into slices. Then cook for 5 minutes in boiling salted water until al dente.
- Chop the onions and garlic into small pieces.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C fan oven.
- Now add the oil to the pan and thoroughly fry the minced meat with the onions and garlic. Meanwhile, season the minced meat with salt, pepper, cumin and paprika. Then add the tomato paste.
- When everything is well fried, deglaze with the cream and milk. Now add the broth, possibly a little more tomato paste, cayenne pepper and thyme. After everything has boiled in, stir in approx. 80 g of the grated cheese. Add the pepper strips and cook for a few more minutes.
- Then grease the baking dish and pour everything into it. Scatter the rest of the cheese over the casserole.
- Bake the casserole in a hot oven at 180 ° C for about 25 - 30 minutes until golden brown.
