- 500 g potato (s), preferably waxy ones
- Salt water
- 2 medium pumpkin (se) (Hokkaido)
- 1 clove garlic
- 500 ml cream
- oregano
- Salt and pepper from the mill
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 handful walnuts, small handful

- First, the potatoes are peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces. Put the pieces in lightly salted water and bring to the boil with the lid on. As soon as the water boils, the temperature can be turned down to medium heat, now the potatoes only have to be cooked (about 15 minutes).
- In that time the pumpkins are washed and cut well. The bowl can also be eaten. Hollow out the pumpkin and cut into pieces about the same size as the potatoes.
- Finally, add the pumpkin pieces to the potatoes in the water for about 7-10 minutes. Of course you can also use an extra pot for it if you like. When both are fully cooked (not too soft!) The water is poured off.
- Peel the garlic clove and cut into very small pieces. Do not sprinkle salt too sparingly over it and mash it with the flat side of the knife to make a garlic paste. It`s more aromatic than using a garlic press, but you don`t bite on bits.
- The walnuts are now lightly roasted in the olive oil in a large pan. Add the garlic and shortly afterwards deglaze with cream. When the cream comes to a boil, potatoes and pumpkins are added to the pan. Now season to taste as required and cook briefly until the desired consistency is achieved.
