  • g 1,500 pumpkin meat, preferably a floury variety
  • 4 egg (s)
  • Cornstarch
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Remove the stem, seeds and skin from the pumpkin. Place in large pieces on a baking sheet. Cook at 180 degrees. This takes about 30 minutes.
  2. Mash the pumpkin with the potato masher while it is still hot and allow to cool.
  3. Put in a bowl. Take out 1/4 of the amount. Then fill the hole with cornstarch. So you always have the right amount of cornstarch and the dumplings are guaranteed to be successful.
  4. Add the eggs and the pumpkin you took out, mix everything and season well.
  5. Roll about 10 dumplings. Let these simmer in boiling salt water for about 30 minutes. Not cook.
