Pumpkin Snack Roll with Minced Meat (from Bixweet Dough)

Pumpkin Snack Roll with Minced Meat is a bright and delicious appetizer that will diversify your daily menu. Delicate biscuit dough, prepared with the addition of pumpkin puree, in combination with juicy meat filling, gives a wonderful result. Such an interesting dish will definitely please your taste.

Ingredients

For the test:

  • Pumpkin – 200 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Flour – 100 g
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Baking dough – 1 teaspoon

For filling:

  • Minced meat (pork and beef) – 250 g
  • Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Milk – 50 ml
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp + for preparing the mold
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. We prepare products. During the preparation process, you will also need parchment paper, foil and cling film. We turn on the oven to heat up to 200 degrees.
  2. Peel the pumpkin and cut into small cubes.
  3. We spread the pumpkin in a heat-resistant form, wrap it in foil and send it to the oven for 20-30 minutes at 200 degrees.
  4. Peel the onion and cut into medium cubes.
  5. Peel the carrots and rub them on a fine grater.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, put onion and carrots and fry for 3 minutes, until soft.
  7. Put the minced meat in the pan and simmer until half cooked (5 minutes). Stir occasionally.
  8. Pour milk into the pan, salt and pepper. Simmer the minced meat with vegetables for another 5-7 minutes. Then let it cool.
  9. We puree the baked pumpkin with a hand blender. Cool the pumpkin puree. Reduce the oven temperature to 180 degrees.
  10. Sift flour and baking powder into a separate container. We mix.
  11. Combine eggs and salt in a bowl.
  12. Beat the eggs and salt into a foam.
  13. Gently stir in the pumpkin puree to the eggs using a spatula.
  14. Add flour to the pumpkin-egg mixture in portions.Beat with a mixer at slow speeds
  15. Cover the baking sheet with parchment and grease with vegetable oil.
  16. We spread the dough on a baking sheet, evenly distributing it. I got a rectangle measuring 20×30 cm. We send the dough to the oven for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
  17. Put the minced meat with vegetables in a blender bowl and grind.
  18. Pumpkin sponge cake is ready.
  19. We spread the cake on a towel and carefully remove the parchment.
  20. In a hot state, roll the cake into a roll and leave for 10 minutes.
  21. Then we unfold the cake and evenly distribute the meat filling over it.
  22. Roll the roll tightly again.
  23. Wrap the roll tightly with cling film. We send it to the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  24. Cut the finished pumpkin roll with meat filling into portions.
  25. Pumpkin snack roll with minced meat is ready.
