Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 150 g low-fat quark
  • 6 tablespoon milk
  • 6 tablespoon oil (sunflower oil)
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 300 grams flour
  • 1 packet baking powder

For covering:

  • 0.5 liter ½ milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 packet custard powder, vanilla
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 75 g flaked almonds
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Jam (strawberry)

Instructions

  2. Mix 4 tablespoons of milk, sugar and custard powder. Bring the rest of the milk to the boil, stir in the pudding powder and bring to the boil, then allow to cool a little.
  3. During the time, make the dough.
  4. Mix the quark with the milk, oil and sugar. Gradually knead in the flour and baking powder. Divide the dough into ten equal pieces and roll out into circles approx. 12 cm in diameter.
  5. Now distribute the pudding on the dough circles. Fold the circles over to the middle on 3 sides to form a triangle and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Whisk the egg yolk with 1 teaspoon of water and brush the pieces with it. Sprinkle with flaked almonds and granulated sugar. Put a little strawberry jam in the middle of each of the pieces.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven (fan oven 150 ° C, electric stove 175 ° C) for about 12 minutes.
