Rice with Vegetables, Green Peas and Soy Sauce

How to cook meat-free hearty rice? Cook it with vegetables, frozen green peas, and soy sauce. Everything is prepared in one dish. Bell peppers, fried onions, and green peas add juiciness and flavor to the rice. Soy sauce compliments this dish well, tying all of its ingredients together.

Ingredients

  • Rice – 200 g
  • Green peas (frozen) – 100 g
  • Bulgarian red pepper – 200 g
  • Onions – 120 g
  • Soy sauce – 60 ml
  • Vegetable oil – 30 ml
  • Water (hot) – 500 – 600 ml

Directions

  1. We prepare products for cooking rice with vegetables, in soy sauce.
  2. Peel the onion and cut it into cubes.
  3. Cut the red pepper, after removing the seeds and stalk, into medium cubes.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. We spread the onion and fry for about 3 minutes.
  5. Add pepper to the onion.
  6. Fry the peppers with onions for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Then add the frozen green peas.
  8. Stir and fry for 1 minute.
  9. We wash the rice well. Add rice and soy sauce to vegetables.
  10. Fill everything with hot water (water should cover the rice by about 1 cm on top).
  11. Stir, reduce heat, and cook, covered, for 15-20 minutes, until rice is cooked.
  12. Rice with vegetables, frozen green peas, and soy sauce is ready.
