Ingredients

  • 125 ml milk
  • 1 cube yeast
  • 125 g suar
  • 500g flour
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • Lemon peel
  • 125 g butter
  • 100 g quark
  • 2 egg (s)

For the sprinkles:

  • 100 g suar
  • 100 grams flour
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 pinch (s) cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk and add to the other ingredients. Knead everything together, preferably with a food processor. Let the dough rise for approx. 20 minutes and knead again.
  2. Roll out the yeast dough about 1.5 - 2 cm thick, cut out circles with a glass and place them close together in a baking dish or on a baking sheet and let rise for another 10 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, weigh the crumble ingredients and knead with a fork.
  4. Slightly moisten the cut out yeast dough pieces with water, then cover with the sprinkles and place in the oven.
  5. Bake the rolls for approx. 20 minutes at 200 ° C top / bottom heat. The sprinkles should only get a little color.
  6. Possibly sprinkle the rolls with powdered sugar.
