Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 500 g wheat flour type 550
  • 1 cube yeast, 42 g
  • 260 g milk
  • 60 g suar
  • 80 g butter, soft
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt

  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

  1. Made with Monsieur Cuisine, for approx. 10 rolls.
  2. Put the yeast with the milk and sugar in the mixing bowl and stir for 2 minutes at 37 ° C on speed 1. Then add the softened butter, vanilla sugar and salt and stir for 30 seconds on speed 2. Add the flour and stir twice for 10-15 seconds on speed 6.
  3. Let the dough rise for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Then shape the dough into round rolls, mix the egg yolks with the 2 tablespoons of milk and brush the rolls with them. If you like, you can also sprinkle the rolls with crystal sugar.
  5. Bake in the oven at 180 ° C top / bottom heat for about 20 - 25 minutes.
