Tortilla de Potatas (Omelet with Potatoes)

Mexican bread – tortilla – is becoming more and more popular with us. Wonderful snacks are made with these tortillas with a variety of fillings. The recipe for Mexican Tortilla Bread is very simple, you can easily make them yourself.
Cook: 1 hour 15 minutes
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- Potatoes – 5 pcs. (large)
- Eggs – 5-6 pcs.
- Bulb onions – 1 pc. (large onion)
- Olive oil – 100 ml
Directions
- The process is, in fact, simple. We clean the potatoes and cut them with 3-4 mm washers. We cut the onion in the same way.
- Fry the potatoes with onions in a large amount of oil, under the lid, so that the potatoes do not brown.
Then we throw it in a colander to get rid of excess oil (if it is olive oil, then this can be used several times – the temperature is low, below 100 degrees, so you can forget about carcinogens). - Then we mix the potatoes with eggs, salt. We bake a tortilla in a frying pan (preferably with a non-stick coating) with heated oil. First on one side, then gently turn over, covering the pan with a plate, and brown with a tortilla on the other side.
