Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 6 egg (s)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • 1 small Bottle / s rum aroma
  • 1 small Bottle / s bitter almond flavor
  • 1 small Bottle / s butter-vanilla flavor
  • 1 small Bottle / s aroma (lemon peel aroma)
  • 100 g almond (s), rated
  • 175 g flour (type 405)
  • 175 g cornstarch
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 0.25 liter ¼ milk
  • little butter for the waffle iron

Instructions

  1. All ingredients should be at least room temperature.
  2. Beat the butter with the mixer until it shows tips. Then gradually remove the eggs and sugar. The longer you stir, the finer and more foamy the mass becomes. Then stir in the vanilla sugar, rum and the remaining flavors.
  3. Fold in the grated almonds and then the flour mixed with the starch and baking powder, alternating with the milk. The result is a rather airy, very thick dough.
  4. Preheat the waffle iron and, at most, brush it with very little butter (later you don`t need to grease at all). Put two tablespoons of the dough in the middle, spread out a little, close and bake for about 3 minutes.
  5. I bake them for just over three minutes on the highest setting of my waffle iron, but you have to test that with your waffle iron. Then remove and let cool on a wire rack.
  6. The basic amount makes about 20 waffles.
