Vegetarian Pizza

This pizza recipe is simple yet unique at the same time. Pizza with vegetables is very healthy, does not contain gluten, it turns out to be low-fat.

Ingredients

  • Flour – 250 Grams
  • Yeast – 3.5 Grams (dry)
  • Water – 160 Milliliters (warm)
  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon the spoon
  • Salt – 1 Pinch
  • Sugar – 1 Pinch
  • Bell Peppers – 1 Cup (cut into slices – red, yellow, green)
  • Onions – 1 Piece (medium size, you can leek)
  • Champignons – 200 Grams (or any other mushrooms)
  • Garlic – 2 Cloves
  • Pizza Spice – To taste (fresh or dried oregano, basil)
  • Pepper – 1 Pinch (ground)
  • Tomato sauce – 5 Tbsp. spoons

Directions

  1. Sift flour on a clean surface (countertop), add salt. Then make a hole in the middle, pour in olive oil, add sugar, yeast and a little water. Stir and leave for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the remaining water gradually, stirring constantly. Initially stir the flour with a fork from the edge to the middle. Then knead by hand for about 5 minutes, until the dough is elastic and no longer sticks to your hands. Put the dough in a bowl, cover with a clean towel and put in a warm place for at least an hour, so that it doubles.
  3. Wash the vegetables and cut into slices. Put vegetables (excluding onions) in a hot frying pan drizzled with oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper and fry over low heat for 20 minutes.
  4. Put baking paper on a baking sheet. Roll out the pizza dough thinly on paper, spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface of the pizza, sprinkle with spices.
  5. Arrange the fried vegetables, sprinkle with vegetarian parmesan on top (you can not add cheese if you don’t have a vegetarian one).
  6. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15 minutes, until the surface is beautifully browned.
