Ingredients

  • 200 g lamb`s lettuce (lamb`s lettuce), small-leafed
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 125 g bacon, smoked, mixed
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 1 teaspoon mustard, hot
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil (walnut oil)
  • 1 tablespoon oil (sunflower oil)

Instructions

  1. Wash the lamb`s lettuce thoroughly and cut off the thick ends of the roots. Thoroughly spin dry the lettuce. Roughly chop the walnuts.
  2. Dice the smoked bacon without rind or cut into strips and fry in a pan without fat over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on kitchen paper.
  3. For the vinaigrette, whisk the white wine vinegar with the mustard, salt, pepper and both types of oil. Fold the vinaigrette, walnuts and bacon into the lamb`s lettuce and serve.
  4. Fresh white bread goes well with it.
