Volcano Cake

I bring to your attention a very tasty, but at the same time quite simple recipe for the “Volcano” cake with a photo. Delicate cakes and soft, non-greasy cream are ideally complemented by chocolate icing.

Ingredients

  • Sugar – 3 Glasses
  • Sour cream – 1 Liter
  • Egg – 2 Pieces
  • Condensed milk – 150 grams
  • Cocoa – 2-3 Art. spoons
  • Baking powder – 2 Teaspoons
  • Flour – 400-500 Grams
  • Butter – 50 Grams
  • Nuts – 100 Grams
  • Dried fruits – 100 grams
  • Chocolate – 50 Grams

Directions

  1. To prepare the cakes, it is necessary to combine 200 grams of sugar, 200 grams of sour cream and eggs. Beat a little.
  2. Add about 2 tablespoons of cocoa, baking powder and condensed milk. If desired, you can use boiled condensed milk. Begin to beat with a whisk or mixer.
  3. Gradually add flour, continuing to beat. This is a classic recipe for the Volcano cake, but if you wish, you can add melted chocolate and candied fruit to the cake, for example.
  4. Divide the dough into 2 uneven parts. One cake should be thin and not very large in volume.
  5. The second cake is the rest of the dough. Bake both cakes at a low temperature (up to 100 degrees) for about 30 minutes.
  6. Cool the finished cakes.
  7. Large crust must be cut into small cubes. You can make diamonds or pieces of arbitrary shape, but about the same size.
  8. Beat the remaining sour cream with sugar (about 6-8 tablespoons) until smooth. How to make Volcano cake even more interesting? You can take yogurt cream, for example.
  9. A smaller cake will be used as a base. It needs to be shaped and generously lubricated with cream.
  10. Next, the sliced ​​pieces of cake should be dipped in cream and spread on the base
  11. Thus, lay out the entire cake and give the cake the shape of a volcano. If desired, dry fruits and nuts can be placed in the intervals between the cakes. Combine butter with chocolate and melt in a water bath. Pour the resulting icing over the cake and send it to the refrigerator so that it is properly soaked.
