- 0.5 liter ½ white wine vinegar or red wine vinegar
- 5 pepper berries, pink, red
- 1 teaspoon ginger, dried and ground
- 10 grains allspice
- 8 clove (s)
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 5 star anise
- 3 slices orange (s), untreated
