Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 60 g sesame seeds
  • 60 g sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon millet
  • 100 g carrot (s)
  • 350 g natural yourt
  • 1 egg (s)

Instructions

  1. First, mix the flour with the baking powder, salt and baking soda and set aside. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Now make the seed mixture from the sesame, sunflower seeds and millet and also set aside.
  3. Now peel the carrots and grate with the fine grater and place in a mixing bowl with the yoghurt. Mix everything with the egg to a smooth mass. Half of the seed mixture is added to this mass.
  4. Then the flour mixture is sifted into the mixing bowl and everything is kneaded into a moist but smooth dough.
  5. Now put everything on a floured work surface and shape into a nice loaf. Place this loaf on a baking sheet, then brush with water and sprinkle with the remaining seed mixture.
  6. Then bake the yoghurt grain bread for about 40 minutes at 180 degrees convection.
  7. Have fun baking!
