  • 4 sweet potato (s)
  • 200 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoon sugar, brown
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • some butter

Baked Yams – Sweet Potato Casserole with Orange Juice

Instructions

  1. Bake the sweet potatoes with their peel in the oven at 200 degrees for about an hour. Then peel off the skin and cut it into medium-thick slices.
  2. Reduce the sugar with the juice to a syrup.
  3. Place the slices in a buttered baking dish and drizzle with the syrup. Salt lightly. On top you add flakes of butter. Then put it in the oven at 200 degrees for another 10 minutes.
