Cheese Bread

Recipe for aromatic cheese bread.

Ingredients

  • Parmesan cheese – 30 g
  • Cheddar cheese – 55 g
  • Milk – 0.25 cups
  • Sour cream – 3 tbsp
  • Eggs – 1 pcs.
  • Butter – 25 g
  • Flour – 0.75 cups + 2 tbsp
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper – 1 pinch
  • Ground black pepper – 1 pinch

Directions

  1. Grate Parmesan. Cut the cheddar into 0.5 cm cubes. Melt the butter. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13×7 cm mold with oil, then add 2 tbsp of parmesan on the bottom of the mold.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, cayenne and black pepper.
  3. Add cheddar. Stir so that all the pieces of cheese are covered with the flour mixture.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine milk, sour cream, egg, and butter.
  5. Gently pour the mixture into the flour. Mix.
  6. Put the dough into the prepared dish, smooth the surface, sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan. Bake bread with cheese until golden brown, 30-40 minutes.
  7. Chill the cheese bread on the wire rack.
