Ingredients

  • 150 g mararine
  • 250 g suar, (150 for sweet cherries)
  • 1 point vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • some carnation
  • 7 egg yolks
  • 7 egg whites
  • 150 g almond (s), (round)
  • 375 g rusks
  • 0.25 liter ¼ red wine
  • 2 cl kirsch
  • 1 kg cherry (s)
  • 0.25 liter ¼ milk, (hot)

Instructions

  1. Crumble the rusks and pour the milk over them. Let it soak well!
  2. Add all ingredients except the egg white and mix well.
  3. Beat egg whites into snow and fold in at the end.
  4. Finally add the cherries (not pitted).
  5. Pour into a springform pan measuring at least 28 cm in diameter. Bake for approx. 70 - 80 minutes at 180 ° C
  6. (Instead of just rusks, you can also use 5 rolls + 5 rusks)
